FORT LAUDERDALE – A couple has filed a suit against the owners of a South Ocean Drive property after the wife fell.

Sharon and Gerald Brisson filed a complaint on May 11 in the Broward Circuit Court against Summit Towers Condominium Association Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on March 11, 2015, Sharon Brisson suffered bodily injury because of negligently maintained pavement, cobblestones or bricks, which caused plaintiff to slip and fall. Additionally, her husband alleges he suffered the loss of her support, comfort, and consortium and will continue to suffer in the future.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000. They are represented by David W. Singer of David W. Singer & Associates PA in Hollywood.
