Car accident 13

ORLANDO – A Seminole County resident has filed suit against Mears Destination Services and its employee after an auto accident in Orange County.

Louis Dimeglio filed a complaint on May 11 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Shawn A. Thomas and Mears Destination Services alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 21, 2016, he was operating a motor vehicle stopped for a traffic on a state Road 417 exit ramp when Thomas, while in the course and scope of his employment with co-defendant, negligently maintained his vehicle so as to rear-end plaintiff's motor vehicle.

As a result, plaintiff sustained permanent injury to the body, pain and suffering of both physical and mental nature, disability, disfigurement, aggravation of an existing condition, medical expenses, loss of earnings and loss of ability to lead a normal life.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against defendants and other such relief deemed proper by the court. He is represented by Lina M. Lopez of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
