Driver seeks more than $15,000 for damages after auto accident in Margate

Car accident 39

FORT LAUDERDALE – A man alleges that he was injured in an auto accident near the intersection of Copans Road and Banks Road in Margate.

Roger O'Neil filed a complaint on May 4 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against David W. Weiss and Deborah C. Weiss alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 4, 2016, he sustained permanent bodily injuries and resulting pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, medical expenses and loss of earnings, as a result of Deborah C. Weiss' careless operation of a motor vehicle owned by David W. Weiss so as to collide with plaintiff's vehicle.

The plaintiff holds David W. Weiss and Deborah C. Weiss responsible because Deborah C. Weiss allegedly failed to yield the right of way when making a turn and failed to observe the surrounding traffic conditions.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000, plus interest, costs and attorney's fees. He is represented by Alan D. Sackrin of Sackrin & Tolchinsky PA in Hallandale Beach.
