Individual alleges injuries after auto accident with Kevin F. Hatton Electric Inc. employee

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Coral Springs resident is seeking more than $15,000 in damages after a collision in the city.

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Coral Springs resident is seeking more than $15,000 in damages after a collision in the city.

Nadege Cherubin filed a complaint on May 3 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Alan Schlecker and Kevin F. Hatton Electric Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 7, 2016, she was a passenger in a vehicle traveling on Wiles Road near its intersection with U.S. 441 in Coral Springs when Schlecker, who was driving a Kevin F. Hatton Electric vehicle, collided with the plaintiff's vehicle. The suit states the plaintiff suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, disability, mental anguish, expense of hospitalization and treatment, and aggravation of a previously existing condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000 plus interest and costs. The plaintiff represented by Scott T. Kimmel of Scott T. Kimmel PA in Deerfield Beach.
