Law money 05

ORLANDO – An Orlando motorist alleges his insurer denied his claim for coverage after a collision.

Ernest Chaney filed a complaint on May 1 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Auto Club Insurance Co. regarding a claim for uninsurered/underinsured motorist coverage.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 10, 2014, he suffered pain and suffering of both physical and mental nature when a negligent, uninsured driver caused a collision with his vehicle at the intersection of state Route 436 and University Boulevard in Orange County. Although plaintiff furnished defendant with a timely notice of accident, he alleges it has denied that coverage exists and/or refused to pay plaintiff for the full value of his claim.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages against the defendant, for personal injury including losses, costs, interest and for other relief as may be just. He is represented by Steven J. Tomesko of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
