ORLANDO – A Virginia resident alleges two insurance companies have failed to pay for injuries and damages from an auto accident.

Michael C. King filed a complaint on April 27 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. and Unitrin Auto and Home Insurance Co.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 6, 2012, he suffered bodily injuries, mental anguish, disability, scarring, disfigurement, loss of earnings and incurred medical expenses when a vehicle carelessly driven by an uninsured or underinsured motorist collided with plaintiff's vehicle. He alleges the defendants refused to pay benefits for injuries and related damages under the uninsured or underinsured policy.

The plaintiff holds State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. and Unitrin Auto and Home Insurance Co. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay all benefits due and owing to plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000. He is represented by WM Chanfrau Sr. of Chanfrau & Chanfrau in Daytona Beach.
