CLEARWATER – A medical staffing company alleges it was not paid for its services.

Brant Inc., doing business as Brightstar of Pinellas County and also known as Brightstar Care, filed a complaint on April 18 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Robin Lee Wood alleging breach of contract, unjust enrichment and other counts.

According to the complaint, on June 8, 2016, the defendant contracted the plaintiff to provide caregiver services to her. The plaintiff holds Wood responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the required fees in exchange for private caregiver services.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for an outstanding balance of $41,119.87, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by David S. Delrahim of Englander Fischer in St. Petersburg.
