Passenger alleges negligent driver caused accident in Orlando

Car accident 38

ORLANDO – An Orange County woman alleges she was injured in a collision on Turkey Lake Road in Orlando.

Shirley Guy Pierre filed a complaint on April 17 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Lindsay Kay Miller alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Nov. 30, 2016, while she was riding in a motor vehicle as a passenger, defendant attempted to make a left turn without yielding to oncoming traffic and collided with plaintiff's vehicle with great force. As a result of defendant's alleged negligence, the plaintiff alleges she sustained great physical harm and injury, future pain and suffering, and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds Miller responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep vehicle under proper control, failed to yield to traffic, and failed to keep a proper lookout for other vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for actual damages in amounts to be determined by the trier of fact, for the cost of this action and for further relief that the court may deem just. She is represented by Rafael O. Nunez Jr. of The Nunez Law Firm in Orlando.
