FORT LAUDERDALE – An Ocala County woman alleges she was injured at a Fort Lauderdale restaurant.

Maryann Cacchioli filed a complaint on April 3 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Beach Boys of Ft. Lauderdale LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 11, 2015, uneven floor boards at the defendant's restaurant caused her to trip and fall. She alleges she has suffered significant and permanent injuries, disfigurement, scarring, emotional distress and medical expenses as a result.

The plaintiff holds Beach Boys of Ft. Lauderdale LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to perform adequate inspections to monitor existence of foreign substances or dangerous conditions and failed to warn plaintiff of the hazardous substance or condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount of more than $15,000 plus costs, interest, attorney's fees, and further relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Hilda R. Ramirez-Gainza of Gainza Law Group LLC in Fort Lauderdale.
