CLEARWATER – A man alleges he was injured in a collision with the driver of a rental vehicle.
Walter and Jane Swan filed a complaint on March 28 in 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against John Robert Taylor and The Hertz Corp. alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Nov. 8, 2013, Walter and Jane Swan were driving along 34th Street in St. Petersburg when the vehicle owned by Hertz and driven by Taylor suddenly collided with the plaintiffs' automobile. Walter Swan alleges he suffered bodily injury and damage to his vehicle and Jane Swan alleges a loss of consortium of her husband.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for damages of more than $15,000. They are represented by Larry D. Goldstein of Goldstein & Greenberg in St. Petersburg.
