CLEARWATER – A St. Petersburg man alleges he was beaten in a parking lot of bar in the city.

Terrance Cormican filed a complaint on March 27 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against John E. Turaniczo Inc., doing business as Wilson's Sports Lounge, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct.15, 2016, he sustained severe and debilitating injuries as a result of being beaten while in the parking lot of defendant's premises by assailants who were removed from the bar, but were never asked to leave the area.

The plaintiff holds John E. Turaniczo Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide adequate security to its patrons and negligently failed to warn its patrons.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000, plus costs, attorney's fees, interest, and further relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Joseph W. Chambers of Chambers Law Group PA in St. Petersburg.
