JACKSONVILLE – A woman alleges she experienced accessibility issues when she visited a Duval County store.

Wanda Moore filed a complaint on March 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division against Saltologie LLC, doing business as Saltologie, alleging violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she uses a wheelchair and that the defendant's property has barriers that restricted her ability to visit the store. She alleges the defendant's property does not have adequate parking, loading zones or accessible routes. The plaintiff holds Saltologie LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly created hazards to plaintiff's safety.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant, attorney's fees, costs, litigation expenses, and other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Robert Gibson of The Law Office of Robert Gibson in Jacksonville.
