FORT MYERS – A Jacksonville business is accused of not paying the proper rate for overtime work.

Paula Brownlee filed a complaint on March 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Fort Myers against Landsouth Construction LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff worked for the defendant as an assistant superintendent and laborer from August 2016 to January 2017.
