Miller Electric Co. claims it was damaged in alleged contract breach

JACKSONVILLE – A Jacksonville corporation alleges an Ohio corporation breached its contract.

Miller Electric Co. Inc. filed a complaint on March 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Jacksonville Division against VEC Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it entered into a subcontract for work on a Pennsylvania project with the defendant in 2014. The plaintiff holds VEC Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly breached its contractual agreement with the plaintiff by refusing plaintiff's tender in connection with a suit filed in Pennsylvania by Flow Data relating to the project.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds $75,000 plus interest and court costs. It is represented by Richard A. Jarolem of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLC in Palm Beach Gardens.
