FORT LAUDERDALE – A man alleges that he was not compensated for overtime by his former employer.

Ke'Shaun Hartsfield filed a complaint on Feb. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Professional Legal Support Services of Florida Inc. and Reginald Jackson citing the Fair Labor Standard Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Professional Legal Support Services of Florida Inc. and Jackson responsible because the defendants allegedly refused to pay overtime wages to the plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Chad Levy of Law Offices of Levy & Levy PA in Sunrise.
