FORT LAUDERDALE – Several Miami-Dade County residents formerly employed as construction workers allege they are owed unpaid wages.

Luis Enrique Camacho Hopkins, Misael Rigoberto Menocal Caceres, Jonnatan Trevino Hernandez and Paul Luque filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Feb. 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against King of Diamonds Miami LLC, also known as Club Kod; Movement Events LLC; Jeffrey Vasilas; and Elliot Kunstlinger citing the Fair Labor Standards Act, breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiffs holds King of Diamonds Miami LLC, also known as Club Kod; Movement Events LLC; Jeffrey Vasilas; and Elliot Kunstlinger responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime premium to the plaintiff for working more than 40 hours per week and also did not pay for each plaintiffs final week of employment.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek all damages, all legal fees, interest, and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by J.H. Zidell of J.H. Zidell P.A. in Miami Beach.
