ORLANDO – A Texas business alleges a Pennsylvania company has been using its patented technology in an unauthorized manner.
Pantaurus LLC filed a complaint on Dec. 23 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against Atos North America Inc. alleging that the Delaware corporation obtained profit through the use of infringement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it owns the patent '533 titled Removable Memory Storage Device Having a Display, which comprises a secure computer system to inhibit data corruption on a storage device. It alleges it has suffered monetary damages as a result of defendant having infringed on its registered patent by making, using, importing and/or selling the accused product, CHR cryptographic module.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant, enjoinment from further infringement, damages, interest, costs, attorneys' fees, and further relief as the court may deem just.
