MIAMI – A camera technician/plumbing consultant alleges he is owed wages from his former employers.
Donald Esola filed a complaint on Dec. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Art Plumbing & Air Conditioning LLC and Gregg A. D'Attile alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week for the defendants without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Art Plumbing & Air Conditioning LLC and D'Attile responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premium for working more than 40 hours per week and was also only paid $6.35 for his last week of employment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and compensatory damages for unpaid commissions, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Robert S. Norell of Robert S. Norell PA in Plantation.
