Undisputed Construction Services LLC alleged to have not paid overtime wages

Law money 01

MIAMI – A Miami-Dade County man claims he was not properly compensated by his former construction company employer.

Manuel Carillo filed a complaint on Dec. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Undisputed Construction Services LLC and Benito Paul citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation during his employment from July to November. The plaintiff holds Undisputed Construction Services LLC and Paul responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff any overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half for working more than 40 hours per week.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, liquidated damages, interest, payment of all unpaid wages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Brian H. Pollock of Fairlaw Firm in Miami.
