Passenger blames injury on Carnival Cruise Lines

MIAMI — A passenger is suing Carnival Corporation, d/b/a Carnival Cruise Lines, a cruise ship company, alleging negligence and insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.

Craig Boegler filed a complaint on Dec. 2 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Carnival Corporation, d/b/a Carnival Cruise Lines, alleging that the cruise ship company failed to provide adequate warning to passengers, including plaintiff regarding the hole in the ground at a port area.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 16. he suffered physical injuries including a torn MCL. The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly allowing a hazardous condition and not warning about it.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, medical expenses, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Jonathan D. Carvajal of Aronfeld Trial Lawyers in Coral Gables.
