Aetna Health Inc. accused of wrongfully denying health benefits

ORLANDO — An employee is suing Aetna Health Inc., an insurance firm, citing alleged breach of contract.

Philip St. Louis filed a complaint on Nov. 2, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida Orlando Division against Aetna Health Inc. alleging that the insurance firm denied plaintiff's claim for health benefits.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages due to the denial of his health benefits. The plaintiff holds Aetna Health Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly denied plaintiff's insurance benefits based on their claim that his claim for health benefits was excluded from the terms.

The plaintiff seeks payment of health insurance benefits, all legal fees and interest plus any other relief which this court deems just. He is represented by Gregon D. Swartwood of The Nation Law Firm, LLP in Longwood.
