Maintenance company sued for nonpayment of overtime wages

FORT LAUDERDALE — An employee has filed a class-action lawsuit against Profi Facilities Maintenance LLC, Michael Loudis, Patrick Cueva and Khashayar Fallahzadeh, employer, citing alleged unpaid wages and violation of workers compensation acts.

Timothy Wallace filed a complaint on behalf of those similarly situated on Oct. 24, in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Fort Lauderdale Division against the defendants alleging that they failed to pay fair compensation to the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Profi Facilities Maintenance LLC, Michael Loudis, Patrick Cueva and Khashayar Fallahzadeh responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime premium to plaintiff for working more than 40 hours.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by C. Ryan Morgan of Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Olando and Angeli Murthy of Morgan & Morgan, P.A. in Plantation.
