Law money 06

MIAMI – A Palm Beach County man alleging that his employer has failed to provide fair compensation to him for his work.

Bilian Hadjiev filed a complaint on Oct. 12 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Frenchman's Creek Beach & Country Club citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between 2013 and 2016, he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid any overtime compensation. The plaintiff holds Frenchman's Creek Beach & Country Club responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half to plaintiff for the additional hours worked.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks overtime compensation, liquidated damages, interest, and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by Alan M. Aronson of Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Ryles in West Palm Beach.
