ORLANDO — An employee has filed a class-action lawsuit against her employer for alleged unpaid wages and retaliation after she complained to the owner about pay discrepancy.
Christine Neusch filed a complaint on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated on Sept. 9 in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Mac Altamonte LLC, alleging that the employer failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for her work.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from not being paid the regular rate of pay during her employment. The plaintiff holds Mac Altamonte LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly retaliated against the plaintiff by reducing her working hours when she complained about not being fairly compensation for her work.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all lost wages, liquidated damages, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Robert S. Norell of Robert S. Norell P.A. in Plantation.
