Woman claims Target employee injured her with grocery carts

JACKSONVILLE – A Jackonsville woman alleges she was injured by a store employee while shopping at a Target.

JACKSONVILLE – A Jackonsville woman alleges she was injured by a store employee while shopping at a Target.

Stacey Neely filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in the 4th Judicial Circuit Court for Duval County against Target Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 17, 2012, the defendant's employee struck plaintiff with a line of grocery carts at its Jacksonville location. The plaintiff alleges she suffered permanent physical injury.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages. She is represented by Christopher W. Hewett of The Law Office of Nooney & Roberts in Jacksonville.
