TAMPA — A former employee has filed suit against his previous employer for alleged unpaid overtime and incorrect hourly wage.

Brian Ratvasky filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida against Thompson Global Partners LLC and Mark Thompson, alleging that they failed to fairly compensate the plaintiff for all of the hours he worked.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Sept. 26, 2012, and April 1, he worked for more than 40 hours per week without being paid the proper wage according to the total number of hours he worked. The plaintiff holds Thompson Global Partners LLC and Mark Thompson responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay proper wages to the plaintiff, as well as overtime premium for hours worked that exceeds 40.

The plaintiff seeks reimbursement for job-related expenses and any other relief as the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Michael P. Keenan of Mickey Keenan P.A in Tampa and Kimberly Isner Monticello of Monticello Law Firm PA. in Tampa.
