Washington state man claims Orlando residents wrongfully accused him of stalking

TAMPA – A Washington man has filed a suit against two Orlando residents alleging they falsely accused him of stalking.

Christian Doscher filed a complaint on Aug. 8 in the Tampa Division for the Middle District of Florida against Angie Barnett and Philip Dennington alleging defamation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 26, 2015, Dennington told a third party that the plaintiff was stalking his girlfriend and called the plaintiff a "nutter." The plaintiff also alleges that Barnett told the same third-party person that the plaintiff was stalking her through Facebook. The plaintiff claims the stalking accusations are false.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants, $60,000 in actual damages, $10,000 in presumed damages, $30,000 in punitive damages, attorney's fees/costs and other relief as the court deems just. He is representing himself.
