Law money 05

MIAMI – A foreman has filed suit against his former employer alleging he was not paid a proper minimum wage.

William Lee Warner filed a complaint on July 31 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Condotte America Inc. alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he worked for more than 40 hours without being paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Condotte America Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay any overtime premiums at a rate of time-and-one-half to plaintiff for all working hours that exceeds 40 hours per week as well as failed to pay a minimum wage.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant plus all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Elliot Kozolchyk of Koz Law PA in Fort Lauderdale.
