MIAMI – A Broward County man has filed a class-action lawsuit against a Kissimmee employer over allegations he was not paid overtime
Leslie Kiss Jr. filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on May 26 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against the Quality Plumbing Solutions LLC and Brian Ross alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between October 2015 and March, he worked for more than 40 hours at a given workweek but was not paid any overtime wages. The plaintiff holds Quality Plumbing Solutions LLC and Ross responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay overtime compensation to their employees, failed to keep accurate time records as well as paying them the legal minimum wage.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks payment of all unpaid wages, liquidated damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Keith M. Stern and Hazel Solis Rojas of Law Offices of Keith M. Stern PA in Doral.
