Patents 02

MIAMI – A Boca Raton dental restoration provider alleges a Massachusetts business is selling protects similar to its own.

Intra-Lock International Inc. filed a complaint on May 3 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Sterngold Dental LLC, citing patent infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it has been seriously and irreparably damaged and will continue to be seriously and irreparably injured unless defendant is enjoined by the court. The plaintiff holds Sterngold Dental LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly has infringed plaintiff's 7,033,174 B2 patent, known as the prosthetic mounting device, by making, using, offering for sale and selling devices similar to the plaintiff's patented device.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment restraining defendant from infringing its 7,033,174 B2 Patent, compensation for damages, attorney's fees, costs, expenses and any other relief that the court may deem just and proper. It is represented by Jay M. Levy of Jay M. Levy PA in Miami.
