Cruise passenger alleges he was injured aboard Norwegian Epic

Cruiseship

MIAMI – A Canadian man alleges he was injured while on a cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic.

Patrick St-Onge filed a complaint on March 10 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against NCL LTD, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he slipped and fell in a puddle of water on the deck while walking in the designated smoking area on Deck 16, causing him to suffer severe injury to his left arm. The plaintiff holds NCL LTD responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to provide proper anti-skid protection in the subject area, failed to place warning signs and failed assign a crew to warn passengers of the impending danger.

The plaintiff seeks the following: compensation for all damages and all legal fees and costs. He is represented by Paul J. Ansel of Maritime Injury Law Center PA in Hollywood and Eric L. Ansel of Ansel & Miller LLC in Hollywood.
