ORLANDO — An in-ear monitor specialist company is suing its competitors, citing alleged patent infringement.

Jerry Harvey Audio Holding LLC and Jerry Harvey Audio LLC filed a complaint on March 9 in the Orlando Division of the Middle District of Florida against 1964 Ears, LLC (WA), 1964 Ears LLC (OR), 64 Audio Inc., John Doe, doing business as Sumptous Stock, and DB Audio Systems & Productions Inc., alleging that they violated the United States Patent Law.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that Jerry Harvey Audio Holding LLC suffered lost profits and will continue to suffer as long as such infringement continues. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible because the defendants allegedly directly infringed its '555, '674 and '960 patents known as the canalphone system and method.

The plaintiff seeks a permanent injunction prohibiting the defendants from further infringing of the '555, '674 and '960 patents, compensation for damages, attorneys' fees and costs, and any further relief that the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Daniel B. Ravicher of Ravicher Law Firm in Coral Gables.
