Rosemary D. Suarez has filed a lawsuit against David J. Norco, Bluestar Marine Solutions, Inc., and Melissa R Moroney Lopes in the Circuit Court of the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, Florida. The case ID is 502024CA003833XXXAMB Div: AA and was filed on April 24, 2024.
Suarez alleges that on November 16, 2023, she was stopped at an intersection when Norco negligently operated a vehicle owned by Bluestar Marine Solutions causing an accident. She claims to have suffered injuries resulting in pain, disability, disfigurement, loss of wages and earning capacity as well as mental anguish due to the accident.
The plaintiff further accuses Bluestar Marine Solutions of vicarious liability for Norco's alleged negligence under Florida’s dangerous instrumentality doctrine. She also implicates Melissa R Moroney Lopes in the case but does not specify her role or involvement in the incident.
Suarez is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 exclusive of interests, attorney’s fees, and costs from all defendants. She demands judgment for damages, costs, interest and other relief deemed just and appropriate by the court. She has also demanded a jury trial for her case.
