Bailey Dornemann sues NPC International for negligent hiring leading to personal injury

In the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida, plaintiff Bailey Dornemann has filed a lawsuit against defendants NPC International, Inc. and Hali Oberry. The case, numbered 24-001687-CI, was filed on April 16, 2024.

The lawsuit stems from an incident that occurred on March 15, 2018. Dornemann alleges that Oberry, while employed by NPC International and operating a motor vehicle within the scope of her employment, caused injury to Dornemann due to negligent driving. Furthermore, it is alleged that NPC International negligently hired and/or trained Oberry.

Dornemann seeks damages in excess of $50,000 for serious bodily injury and/or aggravation of a preexisting condition resulting from the incident. This includes compensation for pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for enjoyment of life, hospitalization expenses, medical and nursing care costs, lost wages and loss of ability to earn income.
