Bobby Anthony Seafus has filed a lawsuit against Edward Nicholas Palacios Hofscheider and Safelite Fulfillment, Inc., a foreign profit corporation, in the Circuit Court for the Sixth Judicial Circuit in Pinellas County, Florida. The case number is 24-001755-CI and was filed on April 19, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants are responsible for damages exceeding $50,000 due to an incident involving a motor vehicle.
Seafus, represented by his attorneys, states that he was struck by a vehicle operated by Hofscheider and owned by Safelite Fulfillment while crossing a street on January 26, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that Hofscheider failed to yield and negligently operated the vehicle causing the collision.
The complaint further details that as a result of Hofscheider's negligence, Seafus suffered bodily injury including permanent injuries to the body as a whole, pain and suffering of both physical and mental nature, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement among other damages.
Seafus is seeking judgment against Hofscheider for damages in excess of $50,000 along with any further relief deemed just by the court. He also demands trial by jury of all issues so triable.
