Caileigh Elizabeth Kabala has filed a lawsuit against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County, Florida. The case, identified as Case Number 24-001662-CI, was filed on April 15, 2024.

Represented by attorney Derek A. Reams, Kabala is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 from State Farm for an accident that occurred on September 11, 2023. The incident involved Charles Khan Bosshard who allegedly operated his vehicle under the influence of intoxicating substances and collided with Kabala's vehicle in Pinellas County.

Kabala claims that as a result of the collision, she suffered bodily injury leading to pain and suffering, disability, disfigurement, mental anguish among other losses. She alleges that these losses are either permanent or continuing and she will continue to suffer them in the future.

The plaintiff is seeking judgment against State Farm based on her uninsured motorist claim. She contends that at the time of the accident she was covered by a policy issued by State Farm which provided coverage for all losses caused by bodily injury resulting from the ownership or use by an Uninsured Motorist up to $250,000 per person or $500,000 per occurrence.
