During her stay at the hotel owned and operated by Tooraz Hospitality LLC., she discovered multiple welts and bites on her body which were later diagnosed as bedbug bites and a scabies infection.
Piner is seeking damages in excess of $50,000 for injuries sustained due to alleged negligence by Fairfield Inn & Suites. The complaint accuses the hotel of failing to maintain its premises in a safe and clean condition leading to unsafe conditions including bed bugs and scabies infestation.
