They are in Sarasota at the first Board of Governors meeting of the Bar year! We convened this morning with an introduction from 12th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Diana L. Moreland. She welcomed us to Sarasota and discussed the importance of regulating lawyers and protecting the public. She stressed that we can provide accountability for our colleagues by taking responsibility and upholding our standards as legal professionals. Thanks for getting us inspired at the start of our day, Judge Moreland!
President Westheimer also welcomed us to his hometown of Sarasota and discussed some of the various goings on and inspiring goals of the Bar this year. Now we are really getting down to business!
