BRADLEY ARANT BOULT CUMMINGS: Somadina Nwokolo Joins Bradley's Tampa Office as Government Enforcement and Investigations Associate

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings issued the following announcement on Dec. 02.

Bradley is pleased to announce that Somadina Nwokolo has joined the firm’s Tampa office as an associate in the Government Enforcement and Investigations Practice Group.

“We are very pleased to have Soma join our Tampa office,” said Bradley Tampa Office Managing Partner Craig Mayfield. “As a former federal prosecutor, Soma brings to Bradley great litigation experience in diverse industries including telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services.”

Ms. Nwokolo focuses her practice on representing clients in civil investigations, white collar criminal investigations, and federal court litigation involving government entities, such as False Claims Act, qui tam and healthcare fraud matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nwokolo was a trial attorney for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked alongside law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute criminal antitrust violations, including price fixing, no-poach agreements, bid rigging, and market allocation. She was a member of the trial team in the Antitrust Division’s civil challenge to the AT&T-Time Warner merger.

During law school, Ms. Nwokolo interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida in Gainesville. She also formerly clerked for Judge Roy B. Dalton, Jr., in the Orlando Division of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Ms. Nwokolo received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her Bachelor of Science (cum laude) from the University of Florida.
