Car accident 38

ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing State Farm, alleging breach of an insurance policy.

Colleen H. Monroe filed a complaint Nov. 19 in Orange County Circuit Court against State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, alleging failure to perform under the terms of the policy.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 12, 2017, Monroe was injured in a three-vehicle collision due to the carelessness of an uninsured driver. Monroe says timely notified State Farm of the accident and provided proof of the claim for damages and seeks payment for the underinsured motorist benefits portion of the policy.

The plaintiff alleges State Farm has failed and refuses to pay the full value of her claim.

Monroe seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs, attorney fees and any other appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney Jonathan D. Wilson of The Law Offices of Peter Shapiro in Orlando.
