CLEARWATER — An individual is suing Jack and Carla Satterfield for alleged negligence and liability.

Calvin Longstaff filed a complaint on Aug. 16 in the Pinellas Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide their guests with a safe environment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was invited by the defendants to enter their home on April 17 when he allegedly was attacked by a dog owned by the defendants and suffered bodily injury, pain, disfigurement, mental anguish and medical expenses.

The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly failing to warn him of the potential risks of serious injury and for allegedly failing to properly supervise the dog.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for damages in excess of $15,000, together with costs, interest and any further relief the court deems just. He is represented by Lee M. Pearlman and Andrew R. Mallory of Denmon Pearlman PA in St. Petersburg.
