ORLANDO – A Daytona Beach Shores resident alleges she was injured when stepping off of a bus because an uneven sidewalk caused her to fall.

Patricia Tuttle filed a complaint on July 4 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against city of Orlando; County of Orange; Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, doing business as Lynx; and Florida Department of Transportation alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 30, 2014, she had stepped off of the bus owned by Lynx unto the premises owned and maintained by its co-defendants when she tripped on an uneven section of the sidewalk and fell on her left side.

The plaintiff holds 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against city of Orlando; County of Orange; Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority, doing business as Lynx; and Florida Department of Transportation responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of the uneven sidewalk with a sign or cones.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for damages and costs in an amount of more than $15,000, plus costs of the court. She is represented by Jonathan I. Rotstein of Law Office of Rotstein & Shiffman LLP in Daytona Beach.
