ORLANDO — Two individuals are suing American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida for alleged breach of contract.

Maria and Clyde Plummer filed a complaint on June 22 in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that their property sustained a covered loss on May 20, 2016 due to wind and/or hail. Though the plaintiffs allegedly filed a timely notice of the loss, the defendant allegedly refused to replace or repair the plaintiffs' roof.

The plaintiffs holds the defendant responsible because for allegedly refusing to pay the full amount of their insurance claim.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant for covered losses plus interest, attorney's fees and costs. They are represented by Paul C. Perkins Jr. of Paul & Perkins PA in Orlando.
