Florida resident accused of assault and battery

ORLANDO — An individual is suing Blair Vanhorn, a Florida resident, for alleged assault and battery.

David Barnett Brown filed a complaint on June 21, in the Orange County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant's actions caused life threatening injuries, pain and suffering.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he was seated at a bar having a drink on Aug. 13, 2015 when he was approached by the defendant and allegedly without any cause or reason, he was brutally punched repeatedly. As a result, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered serious bodily injuries, including broken facial bones, severe headaches, loss of sleep and other pain and suffering. 

The plaintiff holds the defendant responsible for allegedly punching him repeatedly and forcing him to retain and pay for legal counsel.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant for damages, interest costs and attorney’s fees and any further relief the court deems just. He is represented by Michael A. Tessitore of Moran Kidd Lyons & Johnson PA in Orlando.
