Property owners allege American Traditions Insurance owes them full benefits for damages

CLEARWATER – Owners of a Largo property claim that they are owed the full amount of benefits due from their insurer for water damages to their property.

John & Rose Ann Moore filed a complaint on May 25 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida - Pinellas County against American Traditions Insurance Co. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 10, 2016, they made a claim for water damages to their property that resulted from plumbing issues. The plaintiffs holds American Traditions Insurance Co. responsible because despite accepting coverage for the loss on Oct. 26, 2016, defendant allegedly has failed and refused to pay the full amount of benefits due for the loss suffered by plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek all benefits available under the policy, prejudgment interest, costs of the suit and all further relief as the court shall deem just and proper. They are represented by Amy D. Boggs and D. Scott Boggs of The Law Office of Amy Boggs PA in St. Petersburg.
