Law money 12

ORLANDO – An employee alleges that she was not compensated at all by an Orange County business.

Mary Caprino Tedeschi filed a complaint on May 18 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Dewey's Sports Inc. and Duane Tomko citing the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she worked for the defendants their Dewey's Indoor Golf location. The plaintiff holds Dewey's Sports Inc. and Tomko responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay plaintiff any direct compensation whatsoever for her work performed and failed to pay plaintiff the appropriate minimum wage for all hours worked.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for unpaid minimum wages, liquidated damages, attorneys’ fees and costs incurred, declaratory relief and further relief that the court determines to be just. She is represented by C. Ryan Morgan of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
