Slip02

ORLANDO – A woman alleges she was injured in a fall at a Kissimmee business because of the condition of the floor.

Dalys Miner filed a complaint on May 18 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against CTN Maingate Inc., doing business as Roomba Inn & Suites, alleging that the hospitality business failed to provide a reasonably safe environment for its business invitees.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 21, 2015, she was injured as a result of a fall that occurred at defendant's property that she was legally upon as a customer because of a transitory substance on the staircase.

The plaintiff holds CTN Maingate Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of the dangerous condition, failed to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition, and failed to properly provide training to their employees regarding the proper maintenance and inspection of floors.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages of more than $15,000 exclusive of costs and attorney's fees and further relief as the court may deem just. She is represented by Alex A. Serrano of The Pendas Law Firm in Tampa.
