Slip02

CLEARWATER – A Clearwater woman alleges that she was injured while shopping at a Walmart store in Largo.

Gail Exner filed a complaint on May 17 in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Pinellas County against Walmart Inc. doing business as Walmart Supercenter No. 3372 alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Aug. 16, 2015, while inside the defendant's premises, plaintiff slipped on rainwater that had been permitted to remain on the floor at the entrance without a caution sign.

The plaintiff holds Walmart Inc., doing business as Walmart Supercenter #3372, responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the floor space in and around the entrance allowing rainwater to remain on the said floor, failed to inspect the floor space for any dangerous condition and failed to warn or put signs around the dangerous condition.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages of more than $15,000 and other such relief deemed proper by the court. She is represented by Alina M. Morros of Fiol Law Group PA in Tampa.
