Wawa Inc. patron alleges he was injured in slip and fall incident

Slip01

ORLANDO – A business invitee of an Orlando property alleges he was injured in a fall.

Luis Perez Alfonso filed a complaint on May 18 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against Wawa Inc. alleging that the Orlando company failed to provide a reasonably safe environment for its business invitees.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 11, 2014, he was in the premises of defendant's property when he slipped on a liquid substance, fell and sustained severe injuries.

The plaintiff holds Wawa Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain the floor of the premises in a reasonably safe condition, failed to warn of the dangerous condition that existed at the time and failed to place barricades, signs, or other marking devices utilized to alert customers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for damages, costs and interest from the defendant, together with whatever other relief the court deems just. He is represented by Jessica J. Gonzalez-Monge of Rubenstein Law PA in Orlando.
