Mercedes R. Wechsler PA claims client owes more than $5,000

ORLANDO – A law firm alleges an Orange County man failed to pay for its services.

Mercedes R. Wechsler PA filed a complaint on May 18 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against David Diaz alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 8, 2015, the defendant entered into a contract for legal services with the plaintiff at the rate of $350 per hour for attorney time and $150 per hour for paralegal time. The plaintiff alleges that it has provided all legal services through a full day trial and final judgment. However, an outstanding balance due of $5,849.92 as of April 1 allegedly remains unpaid to date. 

The plaintiff holds Diaz responsible because the defendant allegedly breach contractual agreement by failing to make full and timely payment for all legal services rendered.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in the amount of $5,849.70 against defendant, award interest, attorney's fees and costs of action and further relief as the court deems just and proper. It is represented by Mercedes R. Wechsler of Mercedes R. Wechsler PA in Orlando.
